F 39

The heavyweight’s boat of choice and current Olympic Record holder. It has more volume in the bow to keep the boat level at the finish, is very stable, and has a wide cross section.

F 14

The world record of 6:30.74 was set in this model.
It is designed with a flat hull to fight checking at the catch and finish, and responds well to high stroke ratings.

The F15 holds the lightweight world record, and its flat hull and a U shaped cross section create speed and stability. This is a great hull for lightweight men and midweight women.

The F22 is a popular shell, especially among the U23 athletes. With a round cross section and a rounded bow, this hull is fast on 2000M as well as head races, where maneuverability matters.

Filippi’s flyweight’s hull, the F44 is fast and nimble.
It is slightly banana-shaped from stern to bow, and responds well to good technique and high stroke

The F45 is designed for powerful rowers. It has a banana shaped keel line and a longer bow, to hold more volume. This bigger bow helps keep the boat trim when subjected to powerful finishes.

F 7

Filippi’s F 7 hull is similar to the F15, with a U shaped cross section and a flatter hull, but is more forgiving of technical errors. Built with increased stability in mind, the F7 is a good choice for rowers who are still building their skills.

F 50

The F 50 is designed specifically for women, to address the different application of power and lower center of gravity. The athlete’s weight is moved towards the stern, and the bow is intentionally high above the water to give the boat an airfoil profile in relation to the water.
